9/25/18 - Missions are the best things ever and that's it

I can honestly say serving a mission is the best choice I've ever made. I'm having so much fun I'm never coming home! ;) (Just kidding mom, I love you!)
Once upon a time we were at an investigator's house an hour and a half away from where we live. We needed to catch a bus to head to Turcuruvi to spend the night with other sisters because we had a mission tour in the morning with Elder Gonzaga of the 70. I felt like Indiana Jones running up and down those hills in the dark jungle. We were doding bischos, giant flys and of course frogs and somehow made it back to our apartment in 20 minutes. We caught our bus... then the train... then the subway... then another bus... and made it to Tucuruvi.
The Tucuruvi mansion has 3 duplas of sisters living there so it's really like a celestial sorority in the heart of the Brasillian version of NYC That night we had 12 sisters making guacomole and singing David Archuleta. Festa!
Mission tour was awesome!
Side note: Subway culture is so cool here. They play samples of classical, jazz and pagode from local artists. They have art museums at every stop and I love it!
We've been running after baptisms this week, but Satan has been running with us and it's been super busy. Good thing we have God on our side so everything will be suave na nave eventually. :)
Everyday I witness a bunch of little miracles that are testaments to me that my Savior lives and he knows each one of us. I know us missionaries... and really all off humanity for that matter, are guided by his loving hands if we only listed to the spirit.
We got to go to the temple today and I forgot how much I missed getting to go to the temple as often as I wanted. GO TO THE TEMPLE! I know the Lord's temples are truly the closest we can get to heaven here on Earth. GO! Go recieve guidance and direction! Go and feel of the sweet spirit and the love of the Lord. Just go!
