8/6/18 - The rains came down and the floods came up

It's rained every single day this week. I love rain, but it's also kind of depressing when you're walking around in it for 10 hours everyday you feel? I'm thakful for good rainboots. Luckilly it hasn't flooded. :)

I'm staying in Vila Angelica but I have a new Comp Sister Jales (Jalhes). She's 19 and from Fortaleza, Brasil. She's nuts and I'm nuts and so together we're just a bunch of goofy sisters out to have a good time and share the gospel. She loves to tease me but daddy taught me well and I can dish it just as well as I can take it. (While still respecting the dignity of my calling of course)

Sister A. Ribeiro was everything I prayed for and everything I needed in a trainer. I learned so much from her and I'm excited to learn from Sister Jales as well.

Nothing new to report with our investigators. They're still hanging on.
