8/13/18 - Emma Letter to Family

Thank you all for your encouragemnt and advice. It means more than you know. This week sounds like adventure! I always love hearing about details from home. The mission office said I have a package and a letter waiting for me. I assume the package is from you and the letter from Ethan. I'll find out at my multi zona on thursday. Again, thank you so much for the encouragement. I have really felt your prayers in effect this week. Tender mercy! Mom, Samira's mom Rosangela is awesome and always sends me home with a giant tub of salad when we have lunch at her house. I'm well taken care of here

1) A violent toddler in the ward thew toys at us and in an effort to defend my face he shattered my watch face his parents felt bad and bought me anew one even though I said they didnt need to. I broke the face of the white on in the CTM. how many watches will I go through in 18 months?

2-3) Resturant. This is typical serving size here in brasil. This is why I'm getting fat. SOS

1) Fathers day in Brasil was yesterday so FELIZ DIA DOS PAIS PAI! 

2) Pizza here is actually amazing. They stuff their crust with this amazing chocolate cream and the cheese is different that what we have in the US! SO good!

 

I'm sorry youre going to get 5 million emials from me this week I just keep rememering things I need to tell you. This is my 3rd time getting sick here in BRASL! UGHHH. It's death and Ive gotten a priesthood blessing and slept a lot. I feel a lot better now, but I hope I don't get sick this often regulary here
