7/30/19 - Missions are Fun Things
Missions are the best and they're fun and spiritual and I love being a missionary. Nuf said.
Juliana was baptized! Whoot! She's the sister of a
member and after 7 months of visiting the church she was baptized! Her
testimony is amazing.
President Ribeiro turned 50 this week so we had a
suprise party for him with the Staff and the sisters we live with.
President Ribeiro is the perfect mix of cool dad and wise president. Ah I
just love him and his family so much.
All transfer S. Almeida and I have wanted to go to o
Pico de Jaraguá but every time we tried to go, something came up. The
staff went a few weeks ago but the Elders forgot to invite us and when
they got there remembered, "oh yeah, where are
the TLTs?" President had compassion on us and since today is Sister
Almeida's last pday on the mission he and Sister Ribeiro took us by car.
It's the highest point in São Paulo. This city is literally a sea of
concrete. Under the layer of smog you can't see
the end of the buildings. President and I raced to the top. After we
had churrasco with the rest of the mission staff. I love these people!
I'm realizing more and more that my mission is coming to
an end and it makes me so sad! Every day is one day less I have to be
an official representarive of Jesus Christ. I'll never be here with the
exact same people doing the exact same thing
again. I gotta make it count! Full speed ahead, no time waste!
I still got lots more time to baptize these folks.
Fiquem tranquilos
