1/7/19 - 2019 and I Feel Fine

Oi peeps!
New Years on the mission was suave. We're ready to start 2019 with a bang and baptize the whole world!
When M Rusel Ballard and Ulysses Soares came and spoke to us a few months ago they promised us if every missionary made at least 10 contacts everyday our baptisms would TRIPLE. In Aldeia there is hardly anyone on the streets. President Ribeiro knows that so he just told us to try our best. 10 contacts is now a mision rule. We were just going with the flow, making contacts when we could and then our District Leader said he felt like it was actually posible to make 10 contacts each every day in Aldeia. So we prayed and started working our tails off to be obeident and make our 10 contacts every day. I know it's because of that we really are seeing the proimise fufilled in our area with the 3 baptisms of the Katava family last week and we have 3 more firm baptismal dates set with another family this week.
The daughter in this family is Luana. She is my hero. She's 12 and more receptive to the gospel than anyone I've ever seen. She explain how she felt after reading the Book of Mormon and we explained that was the Holy Ghost and she screamed, threw her hands in the air and gave me the biggest hug I've ever recieved in my whole life. She made a goal to read all the phamplets we gave her in addition to ALL OF THE BOOK OF MORMON before she reads the new comic books she bought. Like who is this girl?! She's 12! She rolled down the window in the car one day and stuck her head out and screamed "I HAVE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST WHOOOO!" She's counting down the HOURS until she'll be baptized. She's also so exited to serve a mision. Every time we pray with her she askes Father in Heaven to help her prepare to serve a mission.
How we found her family is a miracle but I'll tell you about that next week due to times sake.
Aparecido bore his testimony yesterday and I cried. It's fine. He talked about how his family was always happy but missing something and there's no doubt in his mind this is the true chruch of Christ. He'll recieve the priesthood next week. I'm so happy. A member who has been out of town for a while said when he say the Katava family he thought they were from the stake visiting and he was shocked when he found out they were baptized only last week.
That's all for this week.

Amo voces!
