1/21/19 - Sol and Smiles

Ok so I'll give yall the spill of last week and this week.
It's a new mission rule that all sisters need to war slacks everyday because of the mosquitos. Slacks were always an OPTION in our mission but in this 112 degree weather.... i'm trying to have a good attitude about it....
Luana and her parents, Claudia and Estevo were baptized! We foud them only through a miracle. Everytime we passed their street their gate just looked like a big regular gate.... só que naõ.... BEHIND THAT GATE IS AN ENTIRE VILLAGE! We only found that out because of the refugees from Venezuela. The houses the branch rented for them is apart of this village. So many miracles! Luana was counting down the hours and was jumping with alegira when the day finally came. We told her the next day that I had the chance of being transfered. I found out later that Luana was in her room crying and praying so hard for me to stay here. She even fasted that I would stay.... I'm staying in Aldiea with Bernardo! The faith of this girl is amazing! Love her to death! Estevo took us aside and with tears in his eyes thanked us for making such a big difference in his family.
Sacerment meeting these last few weeks have been so full there hardly isnt room for everyone! This branch is hoping to become a ward by the end of the year. Aparecido blessed the sacerment yesterday and that was super special!
It's spider season and they're huge and everywhere. I'll admit, they're kinda pretty with all their colors... just not so fun when you walk into a web full of them without seeing it. Tudo bem.
The Lord is blessing us with so many miracles here. It's like we dont have to find people, they just come to us ready to be taught and baptized. I love our Savior and I love this work!
