7/30/18 - Emma Letter to Family

This week sounds fun! Thanks always for your encouragement. Dad is your Elders Quorm calling for the ward or stake? I'm a little confused. But that's awesome! How are the changes at work? Butt battle sounds fun! Sounds like the familt party went well too! Hammer congrats on your success with football! Mari sounds like your having fun too!

Im not sure how I feel about transfers. So many mixed emotions. usually President keeps people in an area for 3 months but we have 21 new missionaries coming in tomorrow so they need people to train. next transfer we hace 20 more greenies coming. I'm told if my portuguese keeps inproving they might need me to start training next transfer. We'll see what happens. I've had a lot of my weaknessess pointed out to me this week. Super tough. I'm working to find stregnth in Christ. My accent is hard to get over, sometimes people dont want to make the effort to try and understand me. I'm constantly working on that. There are so many things with how I teach, how I study etc that need improvement. I'm trying to be patient and remember becoming an effective missionary is a proccess and as long as I keep being obedient and trying my best eventually I'll get there with His help.
