Question for your comp.  This is my understanding and may not be completely accurate.  Once someone dies their spirit goes to the spirit "prison" until they have accepted the gospel.  It is called a spirit "prison" because they don't leave that space until they have accepted the gospel and have had their work done in the temple.  That is why I think we sometimes feel excitement from the people we are doing work for.  Once they move on from Spirit "prison" they are then put to work on their side of the veil.  Some of that work is on our side of the veil.  I feel that sometimes our ancestors are able to visit to assist us either on assignment or as they petition the Father to the opportunity.  I have felt ancestors at important life events.  This "prison" is in parenthesis because it more like a large learning center than an actual prison.  This is where things get fuzzy but I feel that these spirits can still petition the Father and have other angels visit us to provide support and help us to celebrate.  They can have others in our family line that might not be direct decedents (third cousins) or they might be ancestors of those close to the desired target (Your ancestors for your companion).  I have many companions that have felt their close deceased ancestors that may or may not have their temple work done.  I feel if they have accepted the gospel there are ways for them to make an impact in our life but it might be indirect.  I hope this helps.  Coming from a family that has the gospel I don't know how it feels to have someone pass and then sense them.  If she feels her mother close I would not deny it. 

Gentiles

Gentiles take on different meaning in the Bible than the Book of Mormon.  In the Bible the Gentiles are anyone who is a non-Israelite.  So anyone not from the 12 tribes.  In the Book or Mormon it is referred to anyone who does not have the gospel.  The Bible uses it almost as a holier than thou statement.  The early LDS used it the same way.  We came across someone in Canada who got angry at us because we think of him as a Gentile.  We don't use that term now as it is not very inclusive.  It is important to know how the term is used in the passage you are reading.

Jersey, absolutely, if they are not expensive. XL.  I laughed when you suggested I go look at them online.  They have not changed in my lifetime.  Brazil has always had one of the top national teams and their jersey is very recognizable.  Soccer being my thing I am very familiar with most nations World Cup jerseys.  Some change a little each year.  Brazil has never really changed.  Interesting World Cup moment, Mexico City registered a seismic event after they scored their first goal in the World Cup.  They claim too many people in the city were jumping up and down at the same time.

Grandma Sanders home is up for sale.  Eliza sent us a picture of the posting.  We were thinking a out taking a tour for fun but ewe saw the pictures.  It looks very different.
