4/4/18 Emma to Family - Dad Response
Elder Valentine is the bomb. Sao Paulo is stunning. I feel bad I didn't wish mari a happy birthday when I emailed last. Hugs to all of you.
I could really use prayes with homesickness. I miss yall so much
and this culture and language is killing me. Thank you for your
encouragement. Everything arrived but I realized I forgot a lot of
stuff in a bag somewhere in the house. That's ok I was able to make it
work or buy what I needed. I love tou guys so much. I can feel your
prayers and hugs. They're much needed!
centro de treianmento missionario. CTM. Tender Mercy: Sister bybee and I founf free wifi on the bus to the temple today so I uploaded some pictures to the cloud. Check it out. I prayed Id find free wifi. Ask and ye shall recieve. People say that normally you dont get on the bus with wifi especially your first time. Anyway, I'll say a lor about the CRM in my big letter. Your supportive words are exactly what I need to hear. Im pretty homesick. There was one night were I was sobbing because all I wanted was a hug from Dad. Sister bybee has been really good at helping me adjust. We're really good at helping eachother. We have a missioarly couple EDer and Sister Whitaker who work here, They;re the only english speakers but they remid me of grandma and grandpa barlow. Its comforting.
M,
Sending a big hug your way. We are missing you too. It is helpful to recognize that homesickness is normal and part of the process. Keep moving forward. It will get better. We are recognizing we are missing our “cheerleader” we are accustomed to having. We are all very excited to get your letter. We will check out your pictures soon.
Love ya kid
