3/27/18 - Arrived in Brazil

Hello from Sao Paulo!

Everything is wet and colorful and my hair is huge but I love it! I can't stop smiling. I had a goal to place 2 copies of the Book of Mormon before landing in Brazil. Elder Valentine and I placed one at SL International with a man from North Carolina who had lots of questions. The other we left with a Sister traveling with us. She struck a conversation with the lady next to her on the flight! Whoo hoo! Flying high on the Holy Ghost!

The CTM is beautiful! I have so many friends here too. I became frineds with Sister Bybee via Instagram when we got our calls and now she's my companion! Tender mercy right there. I've seen my homegirl, Sister Tori Shields, but I have yet to find Elder Jibson. There's a unique spirit here at the CTM, I'm so happy. 

My P day will be on Wednesdays so I will be emaling again then. I'll also get to attend the temple that day and I can't wait! This city is nuts but in the best way possible. Motorcycles are everywhere and go wherever they please. There are mini gas stations in the middle of the interstate. The first floor of a buliding is actually the second, the real first floor is call 'earth floor', and the bugs are huge. 

I won't be able to send pictures while in the CTM due to slow connection but I look forward to sending those when I'm in my first area.
